"I can’t help but think that people who pronounce “ED-E” as anything other “Eddie” or “Ed. E.” just don’t know how to read. I mean it is literally a common name and a letter. Three letters. How hard is that? The quest “ED-E, My Love” is a play on Ray Charles’ “Ellie, My Love”. The E is supposed to sound the same, short. Not long. That would make it a girl’s name, coincidentally my grandmother’s name. Which it is not."
